Santa!
We went to Newport Beach the day after Thanksgiving. It was just Rugrat, Mama, and Dada. Monkey was with her cousins.
We never had a chance to spend time with Rugrat alone, so it was kind of special. We walked around, looked at pretty lights, hung out with Santa, and had some coffee and treats. Santa wasn't especially busy that day. It was pleasant.
We thought about taking Rugrat to Disneyland that afternoon, but she fell asleep in the car, so we let her have a nice long nap while we cruised down Highway 1.
It is often nice to spend time alone with each child. For some reason, when they are together, the situation is always volatile and saps our energy fast, and we end up hoping they would go to bed soon.
