No Sis Day
Monkey is on school overnight trip today and tomorrow. We took Rugrat out for dinner to give her some quality time. She didn't care much for Claim Jumper.

Beach Addict
Rugrat has been asking us for the last few weekends if we were going to the beaches. I think she would be happy to know we just booked a weeklong beach vacation for her (and her sis, of course)!

Counting
This little girl can count to 4 or by herself. And she knows 6 is followed by 7, and 8 comes after 7. It makes a huge difference when you have clearing hearing and a good big sister at home.

OSH
Every Thursday afternoon, Monkey has a dance lesson. Every Thursday afternoon, Rugrat goes to OSH to kill time.

First Movie
We showed the trailer of this movie to her last night and she was very excited to see the movie. It managed to capture her attention most of the time. She liked to make runny commentary ("Eww" "Baby crying" etc). Overall, she behaved really well. I think she might have been the youngest viewer in the theatre. A lot of moms and grandmas were there. Very good movie.

Folsom Lake
We took the girls to Folsom Lake today because we missed the beach. Lake beach <> ocean beach. The girls had a great time; they are not picky.
